Terms of Use
Version 2026-10-27.1
These terms are an agreement between you and Pascalmath Co., Ltd., Unit 214, Clover Shopping Center, 155 Dunsan-ro, Seo-gu, Daejeon, Republic of Korea, which operates Korean at Heart. By using the site you accept them and our Privacy Policy.
1. What Korean at Heart is
A fan community for people who love Korean culture. We suggest Korean names based on your birth data and a traditional birth chart (saju), and offer a hanbok portrait, an honorary member card and a certificate. The birth chart and names are for entertainment and cultural enjoyment only — not fortune-telling advice and not a legal name.
2. Not an official document
The Korean at Heart Card and the Certificate of Heart are honorary keepsakes. They are not identity documents, do not grant any legal status, citizenship or visa rights in Korea or elsewhere, and must not be presented as official ID.
3. Who can use it
You must be at least 13 years old. If your country sets a higher age for agreeing to online services, you need a parent’s or guardian’s permission. You must give true birth data and keep the email account you sign in with safe (we send a one-time sign-in code to it); you are responsible for activity on your account.
4. Your photo and content
Upload only photos of yourself, or photos you have the right to use. Do not upload anyone else’s face without their permission, or content that is illegal, sexual or offensive. You keep your rights in your photo; you allow us to process it to create your portrait as described in the Privacy Policy. Portraits are generated by AI and may not look exactly like you.
5. Your Korean name on the home page
When you save a name, you agree that your Korean name (for example 김하늘) and your country of birth may appear in the “Recently named” strip on the home page. Your English name, email address and date of birth are never shown there. If you would rather not appear, email admin@koreanatheart.com from your account’s address and we will hide your name from that strip.
6. Free and paid features
The name reading is free. The paid membership is a one-time payment of $9.90 (no subscription) that issues your founding member number, member card, certificate and, if you made one, your hanbok portrait on them. “Lifetime” means for as long as Korean at Heart operates; if we ever close, we will give notice and let you download your card and certificate. Because these digital items are issued immediately after payment, you agree that delivery starts at once; refunds are given where the law of your country requires them or if an item was not delivered — contact us and we will help.
The Global Korean at Heart Ambassador program selects up to 10 paid members each year on published criteria — not by chance — and invites them to Korea. It is governed by its own official rules: applications normally close on January 31 and the result is announced on March 1 (Korea Standard Time) on the notice board and by email; the rules may set different dates for a given year (2027, the first program year: March 31 and May 1). Membership tiers (Member, Contributor, Global Ambassador) are honorary titles given by the operator and carry no employment, agency or official status.
7. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the site: no automated mass requests, attempts to break security, impersonation, or reselling of cards and certificates. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
8. Our content
The site design, name engine, card and certificate designs belong to Pascalmath Co., Ltd.. You may share your own card, certificate and name pages for personal, non-commercial use.
9. Liability
We provide the service “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer law of your country.
10. Ending your account
You can ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing admin@koreanatheart.com. Deleted member numbers are not reissued.
11. Law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without taking away the protection of mandatory consumer laws where you live. If we change them in a way that matters, we will update the version above and post a notice; continuing to use the site means you accept the new version.
